Had enough of the cold weather?.. Discover Zanzibar

Paje, Zanzibar.

So.  I have been hanging around a lot on Instagram chatting with customers, and mostly getting distracted by and re-discovering all the beautiful things Africa has to offer.  I grew up in Freetown, Sierra Leone so naturally like most people from Freetown, I find myself drawn to the ocean.  Anyway, long story short, few likes and follows here and there and Zanzibar keeps popping up on my screen. Pictures of clean clear water with exuberant children splashing about.  I just had to find out more.

Dum dum dum (me humming), goggle google. "Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania".  I did not know that!  Don't judge me. What does that mean anyway? Like Hong Kong or the Vatican, or Taiwan, maybe? Who do I apply to when I no doubt decide to immigrate to this paradise? Do they have high speed internet access?  I digress.  Tanzania is in East Africa by the way... I knew that much.

Onward to deeper and more thorough research, I asked my whatsapp group of learned, well travelled friends whether they had been to Zanzibar.  No one had. One confirmed though that he heard from other friends that it was indeed beautiful.  Bingo! But not the sort of place you should travel to on your own.  Hmm.

"Why not?" "Because there is so much fun to be had, you must bring a friend."

Alright then, final check. Current weather in Zanzibar 81 degrees F. There you have it, Zanzibar is definitely now on my bucket list. Who wants to come with?
